Challenge

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager with experience in software development to oversee and support our projects from initiation to delivery. We have new and ongoing projects for SMEs in the Belgian market. Project fields range from automotive, public administration, apparel, logistics, advertising to HR. How Will You Make an Impact?

  • For fixed scope projects/MVPs: Create a system for helicopter view to gather information on milestones, budget vs estimates, risks, other aspects.
  • Trigger and keep track of project technical assessments based on a calendar agreed with the teams.
  • Trigger and keep track of team health check processes such as continuous performance improvement, InfoSec, team cohesion, DevOps KPIS, other. 
  • Organize information on capacity availability, e.g. use your PM abilities to manage one of our mini-disciplines to cover aspects such as what projects are coming, what effort is needed, follow-up, when capacity becomes available, how can it be optimized.
  • Administer resources to anticipate, plan and follow-up (e.g. bench situation).
  • Organize and follow-up on information from cross-discipline meetings.
  • Be an ambassador of accountability at all levels of your interaction.

 

What You Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who’s not only passionate about project management and reliable but also loves working with people. Here’s what will help you crush it in this role:

 

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within software development environments.
  • Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools.
  • Fluency in English and Romanian.

  • Team player with very good communication skills.
  • Strong self-organization and accountability.
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Continuous learner, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
